This document (together with the documents referred to on it) sets out the terms regarding cancellation/refund policies on our courses and student responsibilities.

Please read these terms carefully before enrolling on our courses, either online or class-based.
When enrolling on a course you will be asked to accept these terms. By doing so, you indicate that you accept these terms and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from enrolling on our courses.

When not specifically reported, the terms on this document cover all types of courses we offer, regardless of the way they are delivered (online, class-based or in-house).

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. We will let you know whenever changes are made that may affect your current or future subscriptions.

In these terms and conditions:

(a) "we" means (and "us" and "our" refer to) Windsor Academy, a trading name of Heritage CMELimited registered in England and Wales under company number 08874598 with registered office at 14 Wildown Rd, Bournemouth BH6 4DP; and

(b) "you" means (and "your" refers to) the individual user of our website and, in addition, where our website is used on behalf of an organisation, that organisation.

Registration to a course should be submitted online via our web site.

The date of registration is the date when we receive your online or written registration form.

Registration end-date: normally registrations will close 21 days before the beginning of a course.
After that period, new participants will be accepted at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis. In such circumstances, participants will be asked to accept the terms in this document by email.

Payment is not required with registration.
We will invoice your company, or you directly, within 15 days of your registration form.

All bookings must be paid in advance of the event.
We accept payments via BACS or cheque.
Cheques should be made payable to Heritage CME Limited.

All dicounts are subject to terms of advance payment. Unless specified in the offer, payment must be prior to the event booked on to qualify for the discount.

We reserve the right to charge a penalty of £15 or 1% per month for late payment.

Provided you register before the “registration end-date”, you have a 14-day period, from the date of registration on a course, to cancel and withdraw from a course. Within such period you are entitled to a full refund of the tuition fees and no charges will be applied.

If you decide to cancel after the 14-day cancellation period or if you register after the “registration end-date”, then cancellations are subject to the following charges:
- If you cancel more than 20 days before the event the cancellation charge is 25%
- Within 20 days of the event, the cancellation charge is 75%
- After the start of a course you will be charged the full tuition fee

Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by post or email). The date of cancellation will be based on the date of receipt of your written notification.

When withdrawing from a class-based course, you may still be liable for accommodation costs.

If you cannot attend, as an alternative, a substitute delegate is welcome provided you give us written notification before the official start date of the course.

You are allowed to transfer to an alternative date or event, subject to the following charges and rules:
- For transfers before the start of a course there is a transfer charge of 25%
- Transfers after the beginning of a course are only allowed before the end of the first day for class-based courses or 50% of the duration for online training. In those circumstances you will be charged a transfer fee of 50%
- Transfers outside of the above terms are not allowed and you will be required to cancel from that course

Any discounts provided for the initial booking will not be carried over to the subsequent event.

When transferring from a class-based course, you may still be liable for accommodation costs.

We reserve the right to reject your registration under the following circumstances:
- All places on a course have been reserved
- We deem the course inappropriate to your professional and/or skills level

Any tuition fees will be fully reimbursed following rejection.

We also reserve the right to expel you from a course, should you breach any of the terms set out in this document or in our terms of website use or acceptable use policy.
No refunds will be made following expulsion from a course.

For class-based courses, we can book accommodation on your behalf and will provide you with a special rate.
Venues typically insist on guaranteeing accommodation 15 days prior to an event after which the full cost is incurred.
Please note, therefore that the refund rules do not apply to cancelled accommodation that we are charged for.

An alternative date or a full refund will be available if the programme is cancelled.
The delegate hereby indemnifies and hold Windsor Academy harmless from and against any costs, damages and expenses which are incurred by the delegate or the delegates company arising from cancellation or amendment for any reason.
